Apprentice Digital Engineer
London Bridge

We’re looking for an Apprentice to join our Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Digital team. Our ideal candidate will have an interest in design and engineering with a passion for digital technology (think Minecraft, but professional!). Working in our award winning consultancy, you’ll provide support to colleagues working on a variety of projects including Data Centres and residential developments.
Starting in September 2025, you’ll have the opportunity to study for a Digital Engineering qualification with a leading provider while working alongside and learning from professional expertise. We’ll cover all the costs for your qualification too. The qualification takes approximately 2 years to complete but you’ll also get priceless experience working alongside qualified professionals on various projects and with various client groups during this time. You’ll have a structured training plan, access to a buddy and support from fellow Apprentices, giving you the best possible start to your career.
Interviews are scheduled for week commencing 23 June 2025
What you’ll be doing
• Using software to create digital models of construction projects, allowing project teams to understand the life cycle of a building
• Shadowing senior team members at site, survey and digital surveying and project meetings to develop a range of skills
• Carrying out model audits, undertaking clash detection and producing clash reports
• Understanding principles of BIM
• Learning programming and building powerBI reports to assist colleagues and clients
• Assisting with project filing and maintain accurate records
• Supporting colleagues in day to day activities and client services
What you’ll need:
Qualifications
• English and Maths GCSE (or equivalent) at grade C/4+
Knowledge
• An interest in design and engineering with the appetite to learn more
• Basic awareness of basic forms of building construction with the appetite to learn more
• Proficient in the use of MS Office and able to learn more specialist software
• Experience using 2D/3D CAD packages would be beneficial
Skills
• Confident in using computer packages
• Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
• Experience of working as part of a team
• Attention to detail
• Problem solving
• Ability to work on own initiative
Eligibility for an Apprenticeship
You must have the legal right to work in the UK as we’re unable to sponsor Apprentices. You will not be eligible for an Apprenticeship if;
• You’ve already got qualifications, in the same subject area, that are at a higher grade than the Apprenticeship you’ve applied for
• You’ve already achieved the skills, knowledge and behaviours required for the relevant Apprenticeship qualification
• You’re in full time education (including undertaking another Apprenticeship) in September 2025
• The Apprenticeship you’re applying for duplicates what you’ve already learnt
